In the Chesapeake, Virginia, area, Nelson works as a Certified College Advisor with College Funding Solutions.  He is committed to helping families better understand the college planning process and to helping them get ready for and pay for their college education.  Nelson’s main goal is to assist families with high school-aged children in obtaining the greatest secondary education possible at the most affordable price.

Nelson joined the military after finishing high school because he felt a strong desire to serve his country.  He joined the Navy, started a demanding but rewarding job, and served for 18 years in the US Navy.  He understood the value of thorough preparation, close attention to detail, and unflinching dedication to the safety of those he served with during his military service.
